Texture like sun

Dance as a creative form of art has always been something that interested me. Being able to convey meaning and narrative through movement with the accompaniment of music is something i’ve always admired.

Texture Like Sun is a photo series that documents the assembling of a dance piece by the same name. The piece follows three characters spiralling through dependency and addiction issues.

I aimed to translate the feelings and struggles the characters are going through while also weaving my own feelings as a viewer and photographer into the images.
